Waterways, Trails, & Country Clubs

In Cornelius, water is the heart of everything we do. Boaters launch from public slips, paddleboarders glide down quiet coves, and joggers use the greenways that overlook the blue water. Jetton Park’s 66 wooded acres and Ramsey Creek Park’s beach and launch ramps offer easy ways to spend your weekends outdoors without feeling like you're in the busy city.

The town center around Catawba Avenue is experiencing a lovely revival—with friendly local breweries like Eleven Lakes Brewing, neighborhood shops, and beautifully restored old mill buildings being brought back to life as warm local markets and brunch spots.

Why I Love Cornelius

"Growing up in North Carolina, I've loved watching Cornelius blossomed over the years. What I love most about our town is that you don't need a multi-million dollar estate on the water to enjoy the lake. Our beautiful public parks, friendly waterfront tables, and neighborhood boat ramps mean that the Lake Norman lifestyle belongs to everyone here."
